BEALE UPRIGHT CONCERT GRAND (Imperial)  Serial #16700 c1906
Annandale, Sydney, Australia

This was the pinnacle of Australian piano manufacture. The carvings on the cabinet, exotic veneer work and the intricate details of the brass fittings are simply stunning.
There is a reference to this instrument as well as a photo in a National Library of Australia catalogue:

Beale have a patent tuning system which does away with the traditional wooden pinblock. It is an all-iron tuning system, with each tuning pin being held in place with a locking screw.

As you may be able to tell from the photo, this piano is HUGE, standing about 1.8m tall, Everything is original, except the pedal caps, which had to be replaced. Every single action felt, leather, tape, spring and hinge pin has been replaced.
